Stop Press!
Founding consultants of the Workplace Justice Consortium©, Leanne Faraday-Brash and Tanya Wilson, have just returned from the APS Industrial/Organisational Psychology Conference in Adelaide at which Leanne chaired a symposium entitled “Tightropes and Juggling Acts: Balancing the rights of employers and employees without a safety net.”
Leanne and Tanya spoke on their consulting experience dealing with bad behaviour in the workplace and organisational strategies for addressing its debilitating impact. Fellow speakers, Sanjib Roy, HR Director, Victoria Police, Heidi Ravenscroft , Manager Work Health, Victoria Police and Dale Nissen from WorkSafe Victoria gave an overview of the work being done in their respective organisations to build health and wellbeing. They spoke about strategies that had enjoyed short-term impact and those showing promising longer-term results.
What was hot at the conference?
Anything to do with recruitment and retention of talent of course, the “values” organisation and biggest of all, employee engagement.
